Intelligent Results Named a 2002 Venture All Star Company

The Pacific Northwest's Venture Event of the Year Honors Intelligent Results as One of the Top Venture-Backed Companies

SEATTLE—September 30, 2002— Intelligent Results, a leading provider of business analytics solutions, has been honored as a 2002 Venture All Star by the Investment Forum, a non-profit organization that promotes promising new companies to the business and investment community. Brian Lent, CEO of Intelligent Results, was honored along with 38 other CEOs last night at an event recognizing the top venture-backed companies in the Pacific Northwest. Intelligent Results will also be featured in the third edition of The Venture Map, a business reference guide that will be distributed to more than 30,000 private investors and top business executives throughout the Northwest including Oregon and British Columbia.

"This award is further validation of Intelligent Results' continued growth and success as an emerging leader in business analytics software," said Lent. "Investors, analysts and businesses are realizing the immediate financial returns of using our software to access and analyze valuable corporate data, both structured and unstructured. Currently most companies use only their structured data, which accounts for roughly 20 percent of their total data. Our innovative technology enables companies to make the remaining 80 percent of their data operational."

The 2002 Venture All Star companies were selected over a six week period from more than 125 nominations by a 35 member Selection Committee comprised representatives from the region's top venture capital funds and private investors. In order to be selected, these companies had to meet multiple business and funding criteria indicative of future success including strong management and financial backing. "Intelligent Results has proven its ability to be a leader and prosper in a difficult economic environment," said Nathan McDonald, Chair of the 2002 Venture All Stars and Investment Forum. "We're honored to produce the third-annual Venture All Stars event to recognize and promote companies with outstanding growth prospects."
